Ocean Speech takes great pride in developing custom treatment plans for each patient in order to maximize results.

Our personal attention allows us to spend as much time as we need to evaluate and diagnose the situation. The first step is to call our office today.

Evaluation Session

In this session, we will start by reviewing your medical and educational history (with parents for those under the age of 18). After the initial discussion, your therapist will utilize a variety of evaluation techniques ranging from interactive play to formal standardized testing to determine a diagnosis. We’ll then review our findings with you and provide a comprehensive treatment plan including recommendations for future actions.

Treatment Sessions

Most patients benefit from weekly therapy sessions. While each patient receives an individualized program, each session generally includes therapy methods targeting goals and at-home recommendations to follow in between sessions. For pediatric patients, we include a parent conference to review this information.

Insurance

All services may be covered through your insurance program. Please contact your insurance provider to familiarize yourself with the plan benefits and coverage for speech and language services. Some plans require pre-authorization and/or referrals prior to treatment while some plans have restrictions or limitations on coverage. Our office team will help you understand your coverage and verify all benefits before scheduling sessions.

Payment For Services

Patients or their parents/legal guardian for children under 18 are responsible for all out of pocket costs such as co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles. Cash, check, or major credit cards are accepted for payment of services.
